My painting dreams are made of elements of this little autumn series I have recently posted. I want to go big with these ideas but I am scared I will get bogged down in the detail; in a scene like this there is A LOT of detail. It's funny how I feel loose and free on a small scale, but feel restricted on a larger surface. You would think the opposite would be true.

I say do whatever feels good. I love this, and would love it large.
I do love painting on a larger scale, but it takes a lot of paint.
Plus the way you paint changes, so you know you'd be fine, you
would be more concerned with the movement of making it, than
the detail. I so love your work, big or small, I love it all!

You do love painting big, don't you Barbara?! I always wish I could see your paintings at their full scale rather than on the computer screen, but I will take what I can get.

I hope to experiment with these ideas on a big surface soon. I did today a bit, but only on a 16x16 and I want to go even bigger than that.
