LOTS of layers in this one. It took work to get the light the way I wanted it, but the effort was worth it. It's better in person, but hopefully you get the idea. My reference photo was slightly overexposed so the distant land seen through the trees was not visible. I am glad I added it in; I knew that far shore was there and I think it helps to add depth to the piece.
